To Our Most Precious and Appreciated Audience Members, In the interest of health and safety during a time of serious and uncertain world challenge, MCCMF will not hold our beloved Afternoon of Music this spring. We plan to set another date based upon recommendations...

Mission

Inspired by the area's natural environment, history and the community's loyalty to the arts, it is the mission of the Michigan City Chamber Music Festival to enrich the culture of Michigan City by providing free musical performances by eminent artists.

Education

Committed equally to quality and education, the Festival provides classes for students and informal demonstrations for parents and their children. In achieving these goals, the MCCMF seeks to enhance the reputation of Michigan City and the surrounding areas as a center of cultural activity.

Another festival is approaching quickly, and I've scheduled our annual "operations team" meeting for Wednesday, August 1, 6:00 p.m. At 1st Presbyterian Church. We will discuss the upcoming week's schedule of moving church furniture, chair & stand needs, reception needs, clean-up needs, microphone and lighting challenges, etc. Let us know if you are interested in helping in this manner, or know of someone that could help. This is a good opportunity for students looking for community service hours, too, as we are fully 501(c)3.
