The Virtuoso Violin,” Performances by Nic Orbovich and Zofia Glashauser will include virtuosic works by Charles Auguste Deberiot, Eugene Ysaye, Fritz Kreisler, Miklos Rozsa, and Vittorio Monti’s “Czardas!” Nic and Zosia will perform this “live” in real-time, broadcast with no live audience.

December 19th, 7:00 p.m CST

Happy 250th Birthday Beethoven!!” This is an all distanced virtual program. All works are being specifically pre-recorded for this event. Robert Auler will present Beethoven piano works, including Für Elise and “Moonlight Sonata.” Nic Orbovich, Zofia Glashauser, Rudolf Haken, and Wesley Baldwin will present a unison, distanced performance of the finale from the String Quartet #3, opus 59, the “Heroic,” and an arrangement of “Ode to Joy” for String Quartet. The final work will be the premiere of our “Beethoven Violin Concerto” for 12 musicians!

December 20th, at 3:00 p.m CST

The final of the three Michigan City Chamber Music Festival concerts is “Holiday Family Fun.” It will be held on December 20th, at 3:00 p.m. This concert will be presented “live,” in real-time, with no live audience. The concert will feature Sunny Gardner Orbovich’s “Baby Beethoven” story, a live art project, live holiday music, including a sing-along, with Nic and Zosia. Families are especially invited to attend.

“The musicians of MCCMF miss our audience and hope these virtual concerts help MCCMF bring you live music to stay connected during this holiday time, especially!,” says Nic Orbovich, Artistic Director and co-founder of MCCMF.
